Friday 22nd September 2017 - The Governors are delighted to announce that a new Headteacher has been appointed. Mr. C. Woodward will be in post commencing January 2018 following the retirement of both Mr. Jones and Mrs. Leak. We look forward to welcoming Mr. Woodward to St James...many thanks

Friday 8th September 2017 - The Catch Patch team at St James have won a Silver Prize - many thanks to Glossop Rotary Club and they have also achieved a Bronze and Silver Certificate from the Woodland Trust Green Awards - well done to all!

Friday 14th July 2017 - in memory of Bradley Lowery the little boy who sadly lost his brave battle against Neuroblastoma we are holding a 1 donation day. Children can come to school wearing either their favorite football top or a top in their favorite colour.....many thanks

The Catch breakfast Club news....This week (w/c 5th June 2017) The Catch Breakfast Club is awarding four Jeanette's Garden Certificates for 2017 and two Music Quiz prizes, well done to everyone who took part. They have also been awarded a Level 3 certificate by the RHS (Royal Horticultural Society) and have earned 150.00 worth of tokens for the garden,well done to all the young gardeners....many thanks

Friday 24th March - Red Nose Day! Mr Richards class have raised 201.00 so far on their own and more to be brought in on Monday. Angel Leah also raised 74.00 by completing a sponsored silence (helped by Sophie Morgan who also completed a sponsored silence). Luca Hennessy (helped by Toby Tuner) raised 28.00 with his Cake Sweep Stake. We have collected lots more money as a school... many thanks
